Trichoderma Viride

Strains of Trichoderma viride are biocontrol agents that are successfully used as biopesticides for the control of fungus and pests in plants. The main mechanism involved in the biopesticidal properties is appeared to be release of lytic molecules which are responsible for the biocontrol properties. We specifically target the biomolecules, responsible for the biopesticidal properties, produced by the Trichoderma sp. and make the organism to produce high levels of the active molecules.
